This sorrel filly by Catty Rey is getting more eye-catching by the day. She carries the Rubicano gene and is getting more splashy with every passing week. She is a flashy filly, but there is plenty more to like than just her color. She moves extremely well and has the quick feet and athleticism we like to see in a future rope horse.
Her dam is a maiden mare who has done an outstanding job raising her first foal. She is a beautiful mare, and her dam is also a very nice mare, giving this filly a strong maternal foundation. On the bottom side she goes back to Show Me Red Buck, a son of Show Me A Song Joes, adding proven heading and heeling genetics to the pedigree. Show Me A Song Joes was an AQHA World Champion Senior Heading Horse, Superior Heading and Heeling horse, and a proven sire of performance horses.
Her sire, Catty Rey, is a son of Smooth As A Cat out of a Dual Rey mare, bringing some serious cow and athletic ability to the pedigree. His offspring have already made their mark in the rope horse world, including Heavenly Catt, who won the Royal Crown in Rock Springs with Jeremy Buhler and made the ARHFA finals. Catty Rey offspring are known for being versatile, athletic, and good-minded.
This filly has the looks to get you noticed, the pedigree to back her up, and the quickness and movement to make her a very exciting prospect. She is getting prettier and splashier every day, and we think she is going to be a fun one to watch develop.
