Welcome to the Cowboy Classic Horse Sale, we are glad you're here!
Our History
Rodney Teichert and Devan Pope have been best friends since first grade. Many of their earliest memories were made on horseback in Wyoming—working cattle, chasing dreams, and cowboying. What started as two kids with a passion for horses has grown into a herd of mares, a lifelong friendship, and now, the Fourth Annual Cowboy Classic Horse Sale.
We’re proud to invite you to this year’s sale, held online August 31st. This offering features an incredible set of weanling colts and fillies, along with broodmares, yearlings, and saddle horses. We've got the mare power and pedigrees to go with them. Our goal is to breed balanced horses with solid conformations and sound minds that can perform both in and out of the arena.
If you have any questions or want to talk horses, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to visit with you and help you find the right fit for your program.
Rodney Teichert – 801-824-8851
Devan Pope – 435-881-9089
BIDDING
Lot 1 begins closing at 6:00 pm MDT. Extended bidding keeps it fair. A bid in the final 2 minutes adds an addition 2 minutes to the current lot, and lots close 4 minutes apart. Sniping does not work here. Set a max bid and the system bids for you, up to your ceiling.
TRANSPORTATION
Horses are located in Beaver, Utah.
We’ll gladly help coordinate transportation to the best of our ability, with rides already planned for Nebraska (September), Oklahoma (September), and California(September).
